Words and Thoughts from Grandma

100 Day Challenge Reminder

November 8, 2019 by Cathy Winkle

Heads up!  Only 10 more days until our 100th post!  Thank you for being a faithful reader, and I am going to ask you to celebrate with me. Would you prayerfully consider joining me on post #100 by engaging in a random, yet purposeful, act of kindness on Monday, November 18?  I have already settled in on my object of a kind deed on that special day, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to surprise them. Some of you great folks have already shared with me that YOU are on board, too, and I am thrilled and thankful that you are willing to allow God to channel His love through you to encourage someone else!

Is there someone in YOUR sphere of influence that could use some unexpected encouragement? Perhaps a pastor, a friend, a bed-ridden saint, a struggling student, or a random shopper at Walmart is in need of a random act of love? A phone call, a short text, a card, or an unexpected gift may be just what they need to brighten their day.  Be creative, and permit God to use you in the life of a brother or sister, to build them up, to encourage them, or simply to let them know that you are thinking of them.  Please consider joining us in 10 days!

Hebrews 10:24  And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
